The past two months or so have been some of the busiest and most trying times I can remember. As a result, our shipping has fallen into a terrible state. I have been working hard to get back to normal and plan to use this long weekend (due to Veteran’s Day) to catch up completely!
I know I have passed messages and what I’m sure most of you feel are excuses for the last few weeks, and I do apologize. All you care about is getting your product that you rightfully purchased and I have been derelict in my duties as a shop owner. I will make every effort to remain on top of things from this point forward.
For anyone still reading, the reasons for the delays have been numerous. My string of distractions began at the end of August when one of my direct reports passed away unexpectedly. After that, my son’s wedding was the last week of Oct, and starting in Sept we were busy with preparations and throwing the Bridal Shower. I had twin grand-nieces born by emergency C-Section in which we almost lost my Niece. I spent a couple of weeks preparing for the Cincinnati convention, the week after the convention was spent in wedding finalizations and then the wedding itself. Then housesat for the newlyweds during their honeymoon which kept me away from the figures for another week. Oh, did I mention I found out at the end of September that my day job, that I’ve had for the last 20 years, lost the recompete for our contract and I was about to become unemployed at the end of the year and had to scramble to find a new employer. Anyway, it’s all done now. I have a beautiful set of grand-nieces and their mother is doing fine. I have a married son and a new daughter-in-law who thoroughly enjoyed their honeymoon. The Cincinnati Comic Expo went fabulously. And I have managed to secure continued gainful employment, so all’s well that ends well.
